This smoothie is a powerhouse of goodness! Super refreshing and perfect on hot summer days. Packed with Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Manganese, good fats and so much more. The health benefits are endless but I will give you just a few reasons to incorporate these foods into your daily diets:

Pineapples and limes are a great source of ​Vitamin C​!​ ​T​he primary water-soluble antioxidant found in our bodies which protect​s​ us from free-radical damage. This translates to keeping our arteries healthy, reduction/prevention of certain cancers and supporting healthy joins.

Manganese ​​is also abundant in pineapples. ​A trace mineral essential in energy production an​d​ another free-radical busting antioxidant.

Vitamin K found in leafy greens such as parsley is vital to our bone health. Women who have passed through menopause and are experiencing bone loss benefit greatly consuming Vitamin K rich foods to prevent future fractures.

Medjool Dates are a fantastic source of fiber which assists in regulating blood sugar, keeps cholesterol levels in check and supports your digestive system by helping things move right along ;)

  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1 cup parsley
  • ½ lime (peeled)
  • 2 medjool dates
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp chlorophyll (unflavored)
  • 1/4 cup cashews
  • 1 tbsp coconut butter
  • 1 scoop protein powder (optional) ​
  • water (enough for desired consistency)
